It was a big night of derby, as four teams competed in front of a sell-out crowd at Shriner's Auditorium.

In the opening bout, the all-star Boston Massacre took on their sisters to the south, The Rhode Island Riveters of Providence. Starting the season as #3 in the East, the Massacre proved they're more than ready to defend that title. They handily defeated the Riveters 170 to 41. Claire D. Way took home the MVP for the Massacre, while Craisy Dukes earned the honor for the Riveters.

In bout two, The Wicked Pissahs avenged their 2009 playoff loss to the Cosmonaughties. As the Cosmos brought several new faces to the track, the Pissahs were able to take advantage of their vet-heavy roster to earn a 177 to 65 win over the Space Brain. It was a night of repeats, as Splitter Noggin' earned her second MVP for the Cosmos and Ivanna Shankabitch picked up a second for the Wicked Pissahs.
